April 13th 2021 – GIGABYTE Technology, an industry leader in high-performance servers and workstations, today announced testing and support for new AI and high-performance computing (HPC) enterprise GPUs as well as desktop workstation GPUs by NVIDIA. In 2020, the NVIDIA A100, A40, and A6000 were announced and brought an outstanding generational jump in performance. NVIDIA’s GPU lineup has extended, and GIGABYTE servers are currently testing to ensure compliance and validation with the new GPUs. Two new GPUs, the NVIDIA A30 and NVIDIA A10 Tensor Core GPUs, will target mainstream enterprises for AI inference, training, and HPC, including running the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite on virtualized infrastructure. Targeting workstations, the new NVIDIA RTX™ A5000 and A4000 GPUs are ideal for real-time rendering, AI, VR, and compute solutions.

Rack Server

Innovation and performance are in these optimal rack servers to be deployed in data centers with demanding applications. 1U, 2U, 4U, and 5U servers are available for sockets designed for Intel Xeon Scalable, AMD EPYC 7001, and AMD EPYC 7002 processors.

Storage Server

Capacity, reliability, and storage flexibility are built into these storage servers for enterprise and datacenters. These servers have built in scalability to meet data-intensive workloads.

Marvell ARM Server

Ampere Altra on Arm architecture servers will compete with x86 by having more cores to tackle compute-bound workloads. Ampere CPUs offer improvements in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by running more efficiently per core and at a lower price per core. 1U and 2U servers feature a 1-socket Ampere processor with 96 PCIe (Gen4) lanes, and support for 3200MHz DDR4.
